Thin & Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 cup, 2 Tbsp. flour
Mix flour, salt, and baking soda, and set aside. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugars. Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla, and beat well. Then mix in water and flour mixture. Stir chocolate chips in by hand. Scoop balls of dough (smaller than golf balls) on a baking sheet and chill in the freezer one hour. To bake, place cookie balls 3” apart on a baking sheet and flatten to about ¼” thick with the flat bottom of a glass. Bake 20-25 minutes at 325° F.

He hosted the popular Food Network show Ace of Cakes for ten years and has authored multiple cookbooks, including a cookbook for kids.
